Compliance
The POA is charged with the duty of enforcing the Bill of Assurance and the POA By-Laws. It is the duty of the POA to fairly and equally enforce the rules that govern our community.

- Not cleaning up after your pets while walking them in the neighborhood. Please be a good neighbor and clean up the piles your pets leave in your neighbor's yard!
- Long Term Parking vehicles & trailers on streets. The Bill of Assurance states that residents are prohibited from parking in the street. Please park in your garages and driveways.
- Boats, RV’s, trailers are to be parked in back or side yard behind your fence.
- Pets not on leashes. Speak with your neighbors concerning this and then call Haskell Animal Control (776-2666) if they refuse to comply. Visit https://cityofhaskell.org/animal/
- Illegal motorized vehicles driven on empty lots and streets. Speak with your neighbors about this and then call the Haskell Police (778-4916) if they refuse to comply.
- Trash & refuse on empty lots.

There have been a several compliance issues that have been brought to the POA Board of Directors attention. As a friendly reminder, our Bills of Assurance provides guidelines and restriction for us to follow. Below you will find the issue and excerpts from the Bills of Assurance that pertain to the issue brought to our attention.
1. Trailers, boats, abandoned cars, machinery
2. Unkept yards and flower beds.
3. Storage budlings and above ground pools.
4. Parking in the street.
5. Basketball goals in street and sidewalks
ARTICLE V RESIDENTIAL AREA COVENANTS
Section 8. Temporary Structures. No structures of a temporary character, motor home, trailer, basement, tent, shack, garage, barn, or other outbuilding shall be used on any lot at any time as a residence either temporarily orpermanently.
Section 9 Out Buildings One building for storage shall be permitted, except for lots adjacent to the golf course or lake,if approved by the Architectural Control. Firm and shall conform to the same architectural design, materials, and construction of the dwelling. Above ground swimming pools are prohibited.
Section 21. LotYard and Home Maintenance. All property owners after acquisition of lots from developer, shall keepall grounds and yards mowed, trimmed and clean, and all houses painted or stained. No deviation from the original plans shall be permitted without approval of the Architectural Control Firm. No house shall be occupied until theentire yard including front, sides, and rear, has been covered with sod. Types of sod must be approved the Architectural Control Committee. Seeding and sprigging is not allowed. Landscape plans should blend, complement and be aesthetically pleasing to the golf course theme of this development.
Section 2S, Vehicle Parking. Abandoned or unused motor vehicles shall not be parked or permitted to remain on anylot within the dedicated street. Boats, recreational vehicles, commercial equipment, motor homes and trailers cannotbe parked at the front side of any dwelling or in the dedicated street and must be parked in the back yard or side yard behind a fence. Owners or permanent residents are prohibited from parking in the street. No boats, recreational vehicles, commercial equipment, motor homes and trailers shall be parked in the rear or side yard of golf course lots or lake lots.
ARTICLE VII GENERAL PROVISIONS
Section 2. Enforcement Enforcement shall be by proceedings at law or in equity against any person or persons violating or attempting to violate any covenant either to restrain violation or to recover damages. Any violating party shall be responsible for all expenses, including attorney's fees, if any action is required by the Silver Springs Property Owner's Association to enforce these covenants.
